I don't get why the same bounties are put up day after day. It's not like there aren't enough missions to mix it up a bit.... I swear if I have to do that damn Archive mission one more time this week I might have to kick someone. At least with the "strike without dying" bounty you can choose the strike you want.
I'm trying to figure out if this is intentional or just lazy development. I mean come on Bungie.. you did know we'd be doing these bounties every day right?

There are only a handful of bounties, patrols & public events in the game and they really haven't changed since the beta. That shit is fvcking pathetic. So many things they could do here and doing so would go [b]A LONG[/b] way in breaking up the game's monotony. Things like: -rescue the captured guardian -find the lost item -shoot down the enemy drop ship -repair & defend the downed guardian ship -infiltrate the enemy base & retrieve the stolen artifact -win a sparrow race -retake the enemy controlled area -steal a fallen tank -apprehend an enemy captain -complete a strike without using a primary etc, etc, etc...

I won't even touch the Don't Die during a strike any more. Last time that was up it took 4 tries to find a team where at least one member wasn't standing idle at the start.

To level up your gear, secondary skills and guns. Don't do them if there is no need. Seriously, I don't do bounties when I don't need EXP.

I noticed some have been the same for a few days also. I just try to group them together like: Kill 100 enemies without dieing and the 200 Tears on Mars. Makes it more interesting, I guess.

Bungie we need more variety as soon as possible. It isn't hard to code and it isn't hard to implement. With huge updates coming out for games like Titanfall I can see a huge number of players moving elsewhere. So bungie try and take some of your huge profit and start using it to make the game better!!

The worst is "play 5 salvage matches or capture 10 relics in salvage" when salvage isn't even available that day. WTF man.

I would call myself a fanboy, but i do think they need to vastly increase the variety and amount of bounties they currently have. Perhaps even having more involved ones like the exotic bounties with higher rewards and rep etc.

The Archive and The Garden Spire bounties are repeated WAY too much. I don't mind running missions over again, but at least mix it up, please?

The hive bounty is easier. You just need level 18+ and kill the 3 hive at the tunnel below of the cosmodrome spawn.

Yeah it sucks I hate that it's so routine now, besides the missions there is an easy place to go and get it done user fast. They need to mix it up a bit. Throw one in there for the raids, or just have weird ones like "kill 50 enemies while in the air"

I haven't seen Cabal Command in a month. Did it get pulled? Same could be (has been) said about Strikes, too. So many better missions than what is in the playlist. Phogoth, Nexus, Phogoth, Phogoth, Phogoth, Priest, Nexus, Phogoth, Phogoth, Flayers, Phogoth,.... ugh.

I thought it was just me... The archive mission really is repeating. I have also noticed that the 6 patrols on the cosmodrome and the gold tier in events have been there the last few days.

For the 10 fallen majors and ultras, you can find 9 on the Archive. If you do the Scourge of Winter, there's 10. If you have the baron and barney ball to do at the same time, just kill the captain by the entrance to scourge and then do the mission for 10 fallen, baron and barney ball.

I'm sure they'll mix it up in the future if we make a loud enough noise, then we can have some weapon based van bounties, like get 100 scout rifle precision kills, or kill 3 or more enemies with a rocket launcher 20 times and so on

I hadn't noticed that I'd been doing The Archive that often, but it [i]is[/i] pretty quick XP, so perhaps I just didn't mind. I think RNG is being cruel so far, but I agree that there should be more choices to skim through and limits on how frequent bounties can be.

Oh please... There is [i]plenty[/i] of variety in the bounties. When you are doing your daily Archive run you sometimes have to kill the special Fallen guy and others have to kill the big purple orb! How much more variety can you want?

It seems to be a consistent theme.... Lots of repetition throughout the game (bounties, patrol missions, strikes, etc). The question is will the additional content come fast enough to get ahead of that curve for those of us playing since beta to stay highly engaged or will the real winners be gamers who start playing one year in after the content library is a lot bigger? Looking forward to the new content and hopeful it will go along way to re-energizing the sense of discovery.

Because there really isn't much left to do in the game. You can argue about the daily story missions rotating every other week with the same modifiers and same thing with the Nightfall and Weekly Strikes.
