Would definitely eliminate some of the ridiculous camping that's going on with some teams. Pulling out rockets and pointing them at a door half the game is a complete joke. Now of course I'm smart enough not to even go near the door knowing what they are doing, but geez when I go in alone my random teammates are in competition to die the quickest. It's mind-numbingly frustrating just watching idiot teammates run to their deaths every 5 seconds.
Please don't make the argument that I should go into Crucible with a Fireteam. That's not a solution and it's not always possible.
Please bungie. Add some more playlists--especially one without radar. The scrubs won't play it because they'll go negative more often without their camping. It'll make for a much more competitive PvP experience.

hardcore mode, sounds fun.

I think it's definately worth a shot.

No radar = More camping So many people will wait beside a doorway with a shotgun.
Seriously though a lot of people are saying this will create more camping, which it will. How about a playlist with no supers/heavy?
Edited by lazerpants54: 10/23/2014 8:14:53 AMSo to clarify, you want to combat the campers that you are playing against by removing the radar in certain playlists? OK. Can't see bungie catering to one strategy on this way.

For one, camping is not a "garbage strategy" when it's counter able. This isn't like Cyborg's from Injustice's hand cannon, in which he could hit you infinitely and there's nothing you can do about it. Off of that, I'll respectfully disagree, with no radar, that takes away the effectiveness of my Lord High Fixer, which I worked hard to upgrade all the way. Not knowing where my opponents are coming from will put me in a permanent state of "safe mode" and I'll find a nice sniping spot and snipe. If I get shot at, I'll retreat, come back with a Handcannon, lay some people out, and repeat. If I die, I'll find another spot. I would like this in like, say, private lobbies, but a whole playlist with no radar would only create more camping.

Have you really played games with no radar? That just creates more camping. They'll just hide in corners and behind doorways till someone passes. No radar is a campers wet dream.
-
it will make more camping because people won't know if someone is coming or not so they'll stay in the corner until someone comes around
-
No radar will create camping, homie.
