Special Event Idea for Crucible. Everyone Please Read and Vote!! Bungie Please Read It's A Great Idea!!!
Hey Everyone (Especially Bungie)
I was thinking and came up with what I thought is an incredible idea.
I suggest that for a special event on a weekend or something, you orchestrate a crucible battle between the different factions represented by the vendors in the Tower.
Imagine players align to one specific vendor; Future War Cult, Dead Orbit and New Monarchy. And you set it so the factions battle each other in the various crucible modes available. For example, all the people that choose Dead Orbit will always be on a team with other people that aligned with Dead Orbit and the other team would always be one of the other 2 factions.
I think this would add more meaning to the factions overall and I would love to represent one of them in battle other than simply using their Class Armor or Gear.

2 RepliesIt wouldn't really mix up gameplay too much, but it would certainly make the motivation for playing Crucible much more dynamic and therefore interesting. I'm for it.

And increase the drop rate after the match for legendary items that belong to your faction, so it's actually worth playing! :D

7 RepliesThis is a great idea, we should push this, especially with it being something positive. Some of us crucible players need to band together, so that the crucible can become something spectacular. Does anybody know anything about 'the trials of Osiris? Apparently it's how you get the exotic scout 'fate of fools' which isn't out yet.

5 RepliesI'm curious how this would work out for people like myself. Rank 5 with the New Monarchy, and I am almost rank 3 with every other faction. By today I will be 3 with Dead Orbit and by next week I will probably be 3 with the FWC. Would I be affiliated with my highest rank or get to choose?

3 RepliesThe crucible was originally called faction wars because of the different vendors in the tower. We are also missing 2 of them which I'm hoping they bring out with the dlc's and in the alpha there were different stories for each vender that tied in to the main plot of the game. But all that has since been removed for untold reasons..... Love this game just wish it was what I first played not it's Whana'be twin....
