Hey Everyone (Especially Bungie)
I was thinking and came up with what I thought is an incredible idea.
I suggest that for a special event on a weekend or something, you orchestrate a crucible battle between the different factions represented by the vendors in the Tower.
Imagine players align to one specific vendor; Future War Cult, Dead Orbit and New Monarchy. And you set it so the factions battle each other in the various crucible modes available. For example, all the people that choose Dead Orbit will always be on a team with other people that aligned with Dead Orbit and the other team would always be one of the other 2 factions.
I think this would add more meaning to the factions overall and I would love to represent one of them in battle other than simply using their Class Armor or Gear.
Thanks. Let me know what you think. I really hope someone important reads this.

Love the idea
-
It would be a good idea to have CTF
-
Really good idea, would be nice to see something like this implemented into the game!:)
-
That is actually not a bad idea but dead orbit would pants everyone cuz they are so popular 😆
-
love the idea but how about to enter you would have to have the entire fraction gear for example to enter and represent the dead orbit you would have to have a dead orbit helmet, chest piece, gauntlets, leg armour with the fraction mark

6v6v6 or 3v3v3? Either or would be awesome chaos stuff.
-
I'm not in a faction I do Vangaurd and cricible
-
I think this was suppose to be in the original game before it got trimmed down.
-
This is a good idea and I thought they were going to eventually do something like this one day
-
I think there should be this for strikes as well
-
I personally like the idea, but I see a problem. Imagine that 60 players want to play this mode and que up. Of these players there are: -Dead Orbit: 48 players -FWC: 6 players -New Monarchy: 6 players
And you set it so the factions battle each other in the various crucible modes available.
How would you match these players against each other? What happens if one faction over-populates the game-mode? Indeed it has problems, but a good idea otherwise.

Do 100 vs 100 and everyone has the same guns and armor, and the level is contained inside a giant box with no cover whatsoever. Oh and exactly the same rewards are given to everyone regardless of performance. That way nobody can complain. Sounds like a good time right?
-
A lot of ppl are pretty high lvl in all factions, Or are working on it. That would be the only bad side. Which would you choose?
-
How about some mother freaking PvE events? Who cares if they change the rules to already existing mode of crucible which consist of a bunch of try-hards running around in a circle and spamming pulse rifles at each other! I want a storyline, a video game, content, variety. Not a 10 minute cock fight...ffs

Should have been in the game to begin with. Faction Wars!
-
Me personally, I really like this idea. But I honestly think the majority of players would pick Dead Orbit (cause they're the best in my opinion). Hopefully if Bungie does make this really great idea happen maybe they'll add exotic class items for the factions.

Osiris tournament will be out soon
-
I feel there should be a new game mode. Capture the Sword - A 6 v 6 Match Balancing - Yes Capture a sword from enemies side of map, with objective of bringing it back to your base.
-
The fact that the Crucible used to be called Faction Wars before Bungie crapped on Destiny to keep it Teen rated probably hints that this will never happen
-
I've seen similar done in other MMO games. It could also go into pve with faction quests to complete goals to add to your faction's placement. It would be an all around interesting idea and fun to play with. In general, big events benefit everyone and can be quite fun, I hope Destiny gets more implemented.

A 3v3v3 for all three factions? That sounds freakin sweet!

Yay, even the crucible was originally call "faction wars"
