I believe Bungie should make a forum where they can pitch ideas to the community before they implement them into the game instead of having to read through all the millions of topics in our current forums.

You have seen they recently made the community aware of some upcoming intent to make some changes to the raid. They are receiving a lot of feedback on those ideas. They do read the forums and take ideas from the community. They have clearly stated the community plays a roll in some aspects of the game. They do thrive on feedback. This is their creation and they do have a plan. They have a vision and this game is a great example of what a talented and hard working team can do. If you have feedback, they have a forum. If they put their ideas up for a yes or down vote from the community, it would cause more problems than you could imagine.

If you visit the news section of the app/website, you can read the weekly update they provide on Fridays. They do discuss some of what they intend to do in the near future in those posts. A totally open forum won't happen. I can think of two main reasons: 1) many things are thrown out around a design table that are never implemented. If the community gets wind of an update they really want that won't get implemented for a good reason, or gets wind of an update they really don't want that would also not get implemented, the backlash would be incredible. 2) unfortunately, a percentage of the population is just not mature enough to handle that, and would ruin it for everyone. Read the weekly update, and get info on some upcoming tidbits!

It doesnt work that way. A company does not come to a forum community and ask it what they want in there game. The forum community represents a small portion of the player base. Instead they have a #feedback forum which is basicly a place for little kids to cry it out a bit and think they have some sort of impact on the dev. of this game.

I think those posts will cause them to read through millions of posts from users lol
