If you are level 30, got tons of exotics, got VM. I don't see the point of doing the Raid or even playing this game

I mean, if you max out your level in any video game, playing can get boring. Even gigantic games like Fallout get a bit boring when you're at the top.

Edited by Future War Bro: 10/22/2014 8:24:22 PMEven if we're 30, we're prepping for the next raid by having armor with the stats we want (for me it's discipline and intellect) and on top of that a full set of raid armor so that we can swap in exotics to fit the situation. Being level is meaningless unless you have an arsenal of weapons to match. Assuming each player wants to collect 3 elemental primaries and then a special / heavy weapon of every element you are looking at: 6 weapon x 3 element x 18 energies = 324 ascendant energies that need to be farmed. You can net around 25-40 energies a week if you do the HM raid 3x and dismantle all the extras. Then after that you need 72 resources for each weapon so that's 1296 of a combination of spin/helium/spirit/relic that has to be collected. Any additional weapon will be another 72 resources and 18/21 shards depending on if the item is exotic or legendary. Hopefully with the raids, the weekly nightfalls and heroics and the dailies most of us will be done with our arsenals by december for the next raid .... PS - Most people who have raided before in other MMOs are used to this grinding. Anyone remember farming FR gear for Vanilla WoW Tier 1? :D

I got a lvl 30 titan and lvl 30 hunter..I still need titan raid chest and hunter raid helm..that's why I gues..plus shaders..I want more shaders

Min maxing gear, preparing your butthole for the next raid. You are clearly not an MMO player. If you haven't noticed, all gear except exotics come with different stats and upgrades, even raid gear. Play and play, grind until you have the perfect Guardian for you specific play style.. Forge a character for Raid, forge a character to PVP, etc. Im lvl 30, and I think I only need 3 more exotics to catch em all, and I still love this game. Me n my squad gone be ready to take on the next raid.

LOL Guess you looked at my stats when I had my secondary and third gear on...Yeah I have been grinding MMO's since the early 90's....and on games way worse than this (Runescape anyone???) and understand fully how to gear a Character....doesn't mean a little prayer cant help! ;)

Didn't even look at your character tbh. I just finished getting every single raid gear in intellect/discipline. Happy man.

I personally just enjoy completing the raid. Rewards are nice but I do it for fun.
