Question for those who've been playing religiously since day one
When did you finally realise that Phogoth's weakpoint wasn't his head...?
It was only last week for this little titan.

I didn't notice til like last week. I just assumed he didn't have a crit spot. Probably because when I fight him I'm always on the platforms in the mid because his laser is easy to dodge if you just crouch and back up he can't hit you but you can still hit him. When I found his crit spot, I was meaning to just shoot him in the balls and all of a sudden yellow numbers start popping up, I about died of laughter in my chair thinking his balls were his weakness, then I saw the thing on his stomach and I was let down.

Honestly the first time I did it haha I thought the little fanny pack gut was suspicious so I just shot at it

The first time I did the strike. I always try to find the crit spots on the boss's.

3 RepliesIt's good to have someone shoot his brains cause it knocks him to his knees. I believe it's his head that drops him to a knee.

OMG thats so F'in funny. I was running with two of my buddies yesterday or day before....we've all been running together since day one and they asked...I keep getting crits but not every time where's his soft spot... His stomach, looks like an organ on the outside of his body. There are only two guys in the game that I can think of that don't have soft spots. Minotaurs and their chain of mobs(pretorians/axis/etc) and Shanks. Everything else, off the top of my head, has a soft spot for precision damage.

I think it was my second time fighting Phogoth, I was using a heavy machine gun and noticed yellow numbers ticked off on the weird lump on his chest rather than his head.

The first time I fought him. Took me a little while to pick out exactly what I needed to be aiming at for crits though...

First time through, though i was playing with someone who'd done it already and he told me.

I accidently missed his head because I was falling and shooting the first time I fought home so I shot him in his chest not finding it then I shot his tumor/heart. Same goes for vex lol

First time fighting him on release day.... Its a big, giant circle on his belly, and the numbers are not yellow on his head...its really, really, really apparent if you pay attention..... Sorry dude.

First thing I saw on him was that big bulge on his chest and I was like "I wonder what happens when I shoot that"
