One track mind with poor time management skills are you?
People will be back and forth between games. It's not like they'll get bored of the next thing once they chew through the content there.

But consistently awesome games coming out won't leave much time for empty stale ones

*snerk* You underestimate the "Hardcore". They'll chew through ever other game just as fast as they did though this one and get just as bored in the same amount of time. Not every game appeals to everyone despite how many come out. On average out of every major release group, only 3 games are picked.
