As soon as I hit 20, I bought the Dead Orbit faction emblem and never took it off. So I wasn't thinking about it and just played the game, so I don't know how long in hours it would take for someone just grinding rep.

Exactly with the bullshit RNG one could theoretically be rank 1000+ and still not have the damn thing. It's not "Work hard for it" it's more like get lucky. Which just won't happen for some including us.

Thank you for finally confirming your childish/ignorant mentality by such a post...also when you tell people to "work for it" it brings with it an air of condescending nature that makes you antagonistic, not others... And dont worry sir, I will "earn" the shader I'm after as the Crota's End raid coming in the future expansion has an all black shader for completion which I intend on doing fairly quickly, because I actually rely on hard work to get my gear...not RNG/lottery based statistics haha... Its pathetically humerous how ignorant you are...I actually have a friend who was abandoned as a child and grew up with only a mom...you know what he did...he worked his a** off, made straight A's, earned everything he's ever gotten, and passed top of class at Duke university...but your right I'm sorry...every one falls into your sterotypical niche mindset of individual groups (dont want to hurt your brain into trying to actually think that all people are unique)... You stating that people need to work for it implies that they'll eventually get it with enough hard work...but if you actually believed it was RNG based you would recognize statistics and understand that its very possible for someone to reach rank 100+ and still not have a faction shader, thuse rendering the "work for it" idea mute...and you thinking that everything is attainable trough hard work simply makes you sound like an ignorant blue-collar dumbarse...but you dont see me stereotyping you... Also I never asked for the mythoclast to get a nerf, and I am actually Iron banner rank 3 with a majority of the swag I got via "RNG", becuase you couldn't earn stuff there either...but nice try buddy...have fun being ignorant, again, I'm sure your reply will be just as simple and mind-numbing as the first...
