Idea: So I was thinking, wouldn't it be awesome if Destiny had duels? Not like a game type, but like a 1v1 between people you find on planets. How it could work: When in patrol, you must go up to a person click your right analog stick, the interact icon comes up. You could then open it and click a "Duel" button. A bubble or ring would appear around you two and if you exit before a player is killed, you receive the "Turn back" warning and die if you don't go back in. The duels would have no rewards but maybe stats for them? They would also need level advantages completely enabled (Not like iron banner where a level 6 can kill a 26). Also maybe a leaderboard between friends on Bnet or on the game and duel stats on Bnet or in the game. There could maybe be resource rewards like Spinmetal, Spirit Bloom, Relic Iron, or Helium Filaments. But after doin a certain amount of duels in a day the rewards would be cut off to not allow players to farm these. That's what I was thinking for how duels would work. Feel free to post ideas and comments below and maybe someone of high importance may see this if we get good and high results! Edit: You can either accept or decline the duels.
