Everyone's favorite argument, because cod packs their generic, linear, OK story into glorified interactive cut scenes, and "take down this whole army of drones with your pistol and a knife" missions, that makes the story better than destiny's? A turd is a turd no matter how polished.
But here's a thought, just like there's a very small percentage that play CoD for the campaign, why is it unbelievable that people like myself don't need a great story, or are willing to wait for dlc? (I love a good story, but is it 100% necessary? Not a chance)
Now I challenge you to come up with another argument, and before you say communication I think that everyone understands that bungie messed up, including bungie, and I would be shocked if we still didn't have a decent chat system by the time the dlc comes out.

as long as you admit bungie messed up i dont think there's anything to argue about.
-
Hahaha you're right, because bungie didn't produce a perfect game on launch, so that means CoD is better? Next you'll tell me that CoD puts out a perfect game every year (it should be easy with the cookie cutter design they have). Way to try and change the subject.

cod is inherently better because cod doesnt go around and market itself like destiny. Im sure you remember the e3 video and what the game is now. cod knows it sucks but doesnt market itself nearly as destiny did. Bungie basically said they are making the greatest game ever while cod doesnt do anything similar. They follow the same formula every year which results in millions of sales. Only an idiot would say cod isnt successful and isnt going to be successful because every game sells MILLIONS of copies. it doesn't matter if you wont buy or look at the game because there are millions of others who are because the formula for cod is right. Numbers dont lie. P.S. I havent seen any game get this much hate on forums ,not even cod has this much bitching.

Mean hits on the marketing, I will remember this point for future arguaments

OK I'm going to try and follow your logic... CoD devs know they put out a horrible product every year, that mindless drones buy every year because CoD, so they don't even need to waste money on marketing, and that makes it a superior game? CoD is successful because this generation of gamers are littered with followers and kids with rich parents who buy them whatever to shut them up. P.S. Try and be your own person instead of basing every decision you make on other people's actions.

idk, i actually enjoy playing call of duty alot. I base my decision on the fact that I played every call of duty game from cod4 to ghosts. I play with friends and enjoy leveling up my character and doing UMG/GB. I also like the fact that I dont have to GRIND for a sparrow or 3 shards. Granted I am not from the MMO background but I also dont like to spend more than 2-3 hours on a daily basis because there are other things in life than video games(yes people do have lives). Maybe I am a casual gamer but thats what 95% of people are. They play video games for entertainment and not as their only hobby. Another major point. Every major sports game, 2k, fifa, madden, mlb, assassin's creed, etc. are the exact things rehashed each year. None of them spend millions marketing and are still if not more successful than destiny. Its the same mechanics rehashed in the same disc but millions buy it whether its cod, 2l, fifa etc. I fail to see your logic. I make my decisions based on what I enjoy, not what randoms like you enjoy. I love pubstomping on cod, on UMG/GB, on 2k, madden, and absolutely love demolishing people on iron banner with my level 5 character with the default gun and of course destroying people who have the mythoclast. Maybe I get bored from destiny because I am better than 99% of the people in PvE and PvP while putting in only 50% of their time.
