We run VOG parties every week. You can even start your own if you like once you are registered on the site. No reason you shouldn't be able to finish.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm on PS4. As for forming a clan or joining one, I'm still a bit of a lone wolf. But the time may come when I'll just have to join a group or clan. Is it possible to join more than one group?

Group yes. Clan no. You don't have to be in a clan to finish the VOG. Just to get the achievement.

Well, getting the Trophy (or Achievement, whatever) would be just swell. But for now I'm interested just completing the Raid once and for all. I want to be able to complete it at least once before Far Cry 4 is released, because I will be pre-occupied with that game. Who knows when I'll come back to Destiny.....but to complete a Raid, even if on Normal mode, would bring about some sense of triumph.
