It's a total joke. I've gotten more exotic weapons and armor than I've gotten decent looking shaders. Shaders should be more available to us than freaking legendary armor. Eva Levante could so easily make everyone look the way they want but no, we get stuck picking from easily some of the ugliest shaders in the game. Why was this not priority #1?

I don't think shaders should be the number one priority for Bungie Developers, but it is certainly ridiculous that they are (arguably) the most difficult object to get in the game.

Just in terms of "becoming legend" I think shaders would be a priority. A level 10 with a badass shader (ignoring the level requirement) would look better than a level 30 with a standard shader. I don't care how cool your armor looks, if it's purple and green or tan and red or yellow and green or beige and green you just don't look like a legend. What really disappoints me is they already thought of a way to give us shaders consistently (Eva Levante) but never thought to UPDATE THE STOCK? I just don't see the logic.

That's certainly true. The first shaders that I had all looked terrible to me, but using no shader led me to looking like a box of crayons. I thought for sure that Eva's stock would update, and can't explain the horror when I realized it didn't.

Exactly. Such a wasted opportunity. I can't really complain though because I've gotten a lot of badass shaders. I just wish they were more accessible. I don't like seeing pink and purple level 22's, I want to give them a good shader haha.
