FWC, DO, and NM have shaders?.....or rather, [i]had[/i] shaders? Damn, man.
I want Chatterwhite, but you have to complete a Raid to get it. I'll never complete a Raid. T~T

Thanks for the offer, but I'm on PS4. As for forming a clan or joining one, I'm still a bit of a lone wolf. But the time may come when I'll just have to join a group or clan. Is it possible to join more than one group?

Group yes. Clan no. You don't have to be in a clan to finish the VOG. Just to get the achievement.

Well, getting the Trophy (or Achievement, whatever) would be just swell. But for now I'm interested just completing the Raid once and for all. I want to be able to complete it at least once before Far Cry 4 is released, because I will be pre-occupied with that game. Who knows when I'll come back to Destiny.....but to complete a Raid, even if on Normal mode, would bring about some sense of triumph.

Must join a clan :) most are friendly and will help you out as long as you're not just wanting a free hand out

They still have them. My friend got one called Bittersteel from leveling up his Dead Orbit rank. It's random at which rank you get it but if you want to see what the shader looks like (black and white) send me a message on here.
