Where are the SHADERS!!!
[b]When the beta had launched for this game all vendors[/b] within the tower, more specifically the faction vendors,[b] had an alloted amount of [/b]faction [b]shaders along with the rest of their inventory[/b]... [b]On top of that "Eva Levonte"[/b] (A.K.A. Woman who torments me with "refreshed" stock of the same dagum stock as last week)[b] Had an inventory that would constantly update and had a variety of shaders to purchase[/b]...
[b]Now [/b]the game being out for over a month and[b] a majority of players are wearing the[i] EXACT[/i] same shaders because nothing is available to us[/b]... [b]the game was supposed to be make yourself legend, [i]Not [/i]homogenize every character until they all look the exact same...

[b]I understand some loot and the necessity for keeping it RNG based but [i]SHADERS!!![/i][/b]...[b]Shaders are expressions of our personal taste and preference[/b]...there isn't some majical OP shader that needs a nerf nor buff...its a SHADER...and [b]people should be able to dye their armor to their liking[/b]...
[b]Shaders shouldnt be treated like an exotic item [/b]([i]unless they have truly exotic traits such as "Tron" lighted armor, or hive shaded armor with glowing green visor tints, in which case these could be harder to ascertain but should still be ATTAINABLE[/i])[b] and shouldnt be left to RNG[/b] [b]or the [/b]forsaken [b]Cryptarch to hand out[/b] in one of his oh so gracious "care packages" [b]for leveling him up[/b]...
If anyone else is sincerely dissapointed or simply fed up and would like access to more shaders [b]please sign/post here[/b]...

I just got cytherean bloom; bright yellow with lime green... i love it. But yeah there's no reason i should have to "earn" colors

Beat2827 signed I would like the God of war shader. It's much nicer than most that I have also, -blam!- the whole trying to get to rank three for some faction that's only here for a week just to purchase a nicer shader. That was ridiculous for Iron Banner but I tried and only made it to rank 2 and like less than a half.......that really grinds my gears......

1 ReplyThe problem seems to be that whoever designed the shaders was colorblind! They're really awful. I just go with Default because I don't want my guy looking like a clown. The vendors need to supply a better variety of shaders and they really should at least include basic colors in the mix.

To begin with you shouldn't be buying those, why must you buy those? halo allowed you to paint your armor however you wanted. Why doesn't this? the shades are pretty pointless

Since the end goal of the game is supposed to be getting raid gear there is really no difference besides shaders and even then half the dang shaders are terrible, I wish this game had a shader you could buy like in GTA where you can buy a shader and put your own three colors in it that each cost a certain amount, lord knows with the money cap we need something to spend it on.

This is something that needs to be fixed immediately. The game has other problems, but this should be a easy fix. How the four shaders that are for sale now ever made it into the game is beyond me, they are terrible.

Shaders aren't that hard to make either it's just a Pallet swap and it shows that all the armor already have been programmed for it it's not hard to make

Star Wars fan or not, I would think you would agree. Not only that, but the colors of my NCAA football team are these colors, and I would like to use these colors on my guardian. No one may know what my guardian colors mimic, but I do, and I would like that option. If there is a black, red, white shader in the game, I haven't come across it yet, and I have about 10 shaders currently. I agree with your post and therefore sign the petition.

As stupid as it it to complain about a shader...I totally agree with ur post. When I do get a shader it's always the same one over and over again...smh
