Where are the SHADERS!!!
[b]When the beta had launched for this game all vendors[/b] within the tower, more specifically the faction vendors,[b] had an alloted amount of [/b]faction [b]shaders along with the rest of their inventory[/b]... [b]On top of that "Eva Levonte"[/b] (A.K.A. Woman who torments me with "refreshed" stock of the same dagum stock as last week)[b] Had an inventory that would constantly update and had a variety of shaders to purchase[/b]...
[b]Now [/b]the game being out for over a month and[b] a majority of players are wearing the[i] EXACT[/i] same shaders because nothing is available to us[/b]... [b]the game was supposed to be make yourself legend, [i]Not [/i]homogenize every character until they all look the exact same...

[b]I understand some loot and the necessity for keeping it RNG based but [i]SHADERS!!![/i][/b]...[b]Shaders are expressions of our personal taste and preference[/b]...there isn't some majical OP shader that needs a nerf nor buff...its a SHADER...and [b]people should be able to dye their armor to their liking[/b]...
[b]Shaders shouldnt be treated like an exotic item [/b]([i]unless they have truly exotic traits such as "Tron" lighted armor, or hive shaded armor with glowing green visor tints, in which case these could be harder to ascertain but should still be ATTAINABLE[/i])[b] and shouldnt be left to RNG[/b] [b]or the [/b]forsaken [b]Cryptarch to hand out[/b] in one of his oh so gracious "care packages" [b]for leveling him up[/b]...
If anyone else is sincerely dissapointed or simply fed up and would like access to more shaders [b]please sign/post here[/b]...

I just Hit lvl 14 and got my first shader, I think it is called rev enact or something like that. I got the stupid cloak when I leveled u three times in a row. Very random when and if you will get something good when you level up.

Patience I'm sure they will fix this they bumped it by giving the vendor more to sell hopefully more in general will be the next update..

3 RepliesThis is exactly what I've been talking about for a few weeks now.. It's come to the point where it's a running joke with people I usually play with, similar with the ships. Shaders are friggen ridiculous to obtain as it stands. Currently working on rank 11 on Dead Orbit and no shader in sight :l I haven't gotten a shader from a cryptarch package in probably 25+ ranks. Already got the 4 - 5 from strikes/crucible. Sooo, how the hell are the other 50 color combo's supposed to be obtained, 'cause dumb luck just isn't an acceptable answer. Color scheme's really aren't a game breaker so I don't get it either.

10 RepliesFrom what i've read and experienced, it seems you need to grind the fk out of some rep. I got Thundercloud from crypturd at 24/25 rank, which im assuming might be a few ranks lucky. Aside from that I got nothing that nobody else has probably got. The other ranks seem to be around rank 10, which really sounds like a grind (you of course get a random shadder that should match colours they use). This is a total pain and not to mention that the limited 9 slots on a character will be a problem in the future when and if players keep playing this game long enough to obtained 1/2 of them. The vault is actually tiny and i think even with the 27 slots from characters you still couldn't hold every shadder. The vault just barely has much more room then a character... wtf is with that? Game is just so poorly done.

Bump. Agreed. It should be even possible to collect colors so you could make your own shaders. :)

Im late to the convo but for the love of god give out more shaders. I have 550+ hours in this game, have made 5 different characters and currently have 3 level 30's and only have about 12 different shaders 6 of which might as well be the same stupid thing! Wtf bungie? Give us a way to obtain ones we want. I totally agree with other comment on here saying shaders should be a choice not just dumb f*%$ luck. Give out more through engrams or sell more in the tower i dont care...either way get it done.

Lol men FRACTION shaders are the rarest stuf saw guys getting it at rank 6, Iam rank 4,7 and 14 on 3 fractions still no shader -blam!- that system this game just sucks
