I have completed the raid on hard on two characters. That is irrelevant. Titans do not need to complete the raid to get that chest piece. Warlocks do not have an equivalent piece of armour. That is an obvious imbalance.

Irrelevant. Read the OP before replying, it helps. My post is purely about armour balance. There is room for improvement and I call upon Bungie to balance the specific example I gave, e.g. by buffing warlock chest armour. The naked classes are well balanced, despite the complexity in doing so. You can pretend that the game's balance is currently perfect if you prefer. Bungie will be making adjustments. Player feedback will inform those adjustments.

Very nice boots but warlock armour still has no counterpart for the best titan and hunter gear.
