I never really got into halo. I enjoyed playing the campaigns of 1+2, but I was underwhelmed with 3, so I never bothered with ODST, played reach for about an hour and never bothered with 4. I played a few of the COD games, but after it got annualized.... I gave up. Each game was just an expansion pack of the one before it at that point. COD2 when it was released with the launch of the console was a revelation and still one of the best games I have played online. COD3 was terrible, COD4:MW was a blast, I never bothered with WAW, then MW2 came out and it was good and the CO OP was fun, but I was left under the impression that it was literally the exact same game as MW. Then Black ops came out, I played through it in a weekend, traded it back in. I was done with the series. Just churning out the same exact games over and over again.... micro transaction's for every thing. It just got to the point where it represented everything that is wrong with modern gaming. The best online competitive pvp for me are games like UT3, Rainbow 6 vegas.
