Armour is seriously imbalanced between classes. Certain items for some classes have no counterpart for other classes, leaving the game markedly unbalanced overall. This is indisputable. The stats for all gear is freely available to compare. The classes are balanced, apart from armour.

If you are asking for a pvp buff or nerf, in pvp all classes are given soma lair armor rating and weapon dps. The only game changer is the bonuses your gears perks can make. And if you are asking for a nerf on exotic gear, that's not supposed to have a counter, I play crucible regularly and thus far I think people complain either about what they don't have or haven't tried another class to understand their advantages and disadvantages, each class has their pros and cons. Thanks to all the complaining pve is at the moment, not the best experience.
