The big test for Destiny will be when those games out. Destiny is struggling for staying power right now, and it will be very interesting to see what happens in a few weeks.
My guess is the player base will take a huge hit, before it experiences a small peak when DLC comes out.
However the days of 3.2 million unique players a day is done, and only Bungie are to blame for that. How they've treated this game is tragic

Hard out. I was a huge defender of the game until I got the exotics I wanted and my Titan to 30. I have the gear for my hunter but can't even be bothered to level him up. There's no staying power in this game and I'm 100% certain the dlc has nothing in it to keep players. A few more defend dinklebot missions and another raid that you can probably only do once a week? Shot bunjie for showing how to ruin a great concept

Yeh.. 3 months ago I would have never imagined this. It saddens me, more so that I could fix it in one week at bunjie. I have the time and would do it for free too. God they ruined the greatest concept ever
