1 for the cod boys
When the next COD comes out I will be immensely happy. As the fish swim away from the destiny servers to warmer, more spacious waters the game will finally crash.
The fps aspect of this game is holding the majority of the players here but when a better shooter comes out.... Well destiny might see a dive.
When elder scrolls and dragon age are out, all rpg fans will also leave, me at their side. Destiny servers will also take a massive dive again.
When the next game for hardcore mmo fans comes out. Wait... I'm not gonna compare this to an mmo. Destiny servers will take another massive dive.
They also have to compete with new borderlands, dying light, evolve, the division, the order 1886, the crew, NO MANS SKY!and the long list of other games that are finally coming out.
The only ones left will be the hardcore fanboys, all holding each other in an empty, enormous ocean. Wishing the codfish would swim back so they can play on a full server one more time.

13 RepliesThe ones that are left will still be complaining, this time the complaints will sit in a box all alone like a application to jack in the box.....no one is going to care. This game is good for the time being but it is so repetitive that it literally puts me to sleep. Even when the dlc content comes out how long is it going to take for that to dry up and be shit.....this game feels like a -blam!-ing job, like if I don't do the strikes I won't get payed.

I will definitely still be playing this when the new call of duty comes out. It's a great game. Some flaws but every game has them. Call of duty is the same thing every time. I throughly enjoy destiny and will definitely continue to play it.

3 RepliesI have given COD many chances in my time and more often than not I has let me down. I am not trying to downplay COD here as even I have AW preordered and paid off but I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. Like bungie said it is a 10 year game. That means it will evolve. When exactly that is will be the real question but bashing the game before it's even gotten to the good parts is really counterproductive and it pains me to see players like you five up on the game so easily. Your not a gamer just another casual wanting an easy game

5 RepliesOr they could play more than 1 game. I haven't played cod since bo2 and got bored with skyrim but I still know they are completely different games. Borderland I see your point as they are very similar. I think you are presuming people only play 1 game and that people are currently restricting themselves to just destiny so any playtime will be taken from destiny rather than a different game.

6 RepliesCODs dead and the other games you listed don't compare or have been pushed far enough back that it won't matter..... Sure I'll get my 40-60 hours out of Far Cry. But nothing's gonna suck in more hours like Destiny. take a break from this game if your bored, come back when there's more to do (there will always be additional content in the future) but it's not going to dive any time soon

The majority of COD players hate being killed with just 2-3 bullets and that is exactly what will happen in COD AW. One of the reasons Ghost was such a failure was the quick time to kill so like I said when players get sick of dying without even being able to raise there gun they will come running back to Destiny like COD is the plague.

4 RepliesThat may be true for some people but I doubt its going to be that big of a dive cause I see people will come back to destiny when they realize that the newest Cod is just a polished up version of the same game we have been getting for the past 6 or 7 years just like the Madden games. I myself did buy Shadow of mordor but I have not touched it since I played for a few hours and still haven't had the urge to play it. I will play dragon age to see how it is and if it keeps my attention Ill prolly split time between Destiny and Dragon age till the DLC for Destiny comes out. I kinda feel like in the minority who sees the actual future of Destiny and I don't have to have everything right now and complete it right away. I am glad that maybe the story will be stretched out and be told through DLC and other ways. I am sure there are a lot of people here who put tons of hours into other games grinding away to reach max level or max prestige. I just wish people would see the future and not want everything so fast so soon. I hope they don't run their life like that cause that is burning the candle on both ends and means a shorter life.

2 RepliesIf you haven't seen the polls, by far the majority of people just on these forums- which is very small- like this game and plan to stick with it. It seems like most people dislike this game because the whiners are always louder than the people who enjoying the game. But the truth is people that just want to play the game and have fun doing so aren't going to come on here and share how much fun they're having. From hard data from polls at least 75% of current players will keep playing this game over call of shitters and others. Op is a -blam!-ing retard.

14 RepliesWell I'm a gamer, so I play games. Notice that I said games, meaning more than one. I always go back and forth between games. At the moment I'm playing between 5 different games, and that's just counting console games. So when all these new games come out I'll just add them to my rotation. Now I can't be the only gamer that plays more than one game at a time. So not everybody is going to be dropping out just 'cause a new game came out. They will do just like many others will do and play more than just one game.
