How many of you were Halo Players before Destiny? CoD Players?
Just would like to shoot this out for an experiment. I'd like to know what you guys played before Destiny came out!
If you played both, which one did you play more?
EDIT: A cheeky Guardian has decided to necrobump this post, and has now caused me great distress. I've formed a multitude of ulcers in the last 15 minutes.
But I still am curious, even though it's been months- so the post is here to stay.

I've played both and played CoD more but thouroughly enjoyed Destiny. I'm used to the grinding as I've played a lot of Dragon Age and Guild Wars. But now it is pretty boring to play without friends.

Halo and cod with a little bit of GoW3 chucked into the mix. definitely played more halo think my reach service stats is over 6k multiplayer games.

For me it would be Gears of War 3. Hands down my favorite. Can't wait to see what's new for Gears.

6 RepliesA lot of halo 3. Some may disagree but this required way more skill in matchmaking than any other shooter. Gears of war too. CoD, not so much.

1 ReplyI was a big COD player but stopped about a year ago. It's always the same. And was going to get AW this year cause it looks really good, but Destiny already takes up enough of my time. So I'm on Destiny exclusively.

Not that I played for long, but I tried Halo 3 and CoD MW and BO. Not MP though, just campaigns)

(I spent a ton of hours on other stuff like Borderlands 2 and Skyrim). I bought my Xbox360 in 2008 when I graduated high school. So my childhood consisted of more online games (mostly Runescape and Maplestory lol).

I think at least 90% of people who play destiny have played cod seriously at one point in their gaming life.
