Just would like to shoot this out for an experiment. I'd like to know what you guys played before Destiny came out!
If you played both, which one did you play more?
EDIT: A cheeky Guardian has decided to necrobump this post, and has now caused me great distress. I've formed a multitude of ulcers in the last 15 minutes.
But I still am curious, even though it's been months- so the post is here to stay.

Batllefield 1-4 both bad companies. Mw Mw 2 waw and mw3. Little bit of blops. Halo 1-4. Team fortress 1-2 and Golden Eye, where it all started.

Both.

Me and my two buds had halo origins. We were maybe the only people that could play halo 3 ghost hunters for hours on end.

Edited by Trickii3: 10/14/2015 1:42:26 AMI love destiny pvp but however battlefield, black ops 3, and rainbow six siege will always be bae. I like that fast time to kill multiplayer shooters. Battlefront is awesome too.

I came from Halo, CoD and others

Edited by Raider TCK: 10/20/2014 3:24:50 PMI never really got into halo. I enjoyed playing the campaigns of 1+2, but I was underwhelmed with 3, so I never bothered with ODST, played reach for about an hour and never bothered with 4. I played a few of the COD games, but after it got annualized.... I gave up. Each game was just an expansion pack of the one before it at that point. COD2 when it was released with the launch of the console was a revelation and still one of the best games I have played online. COD3 was terrible, COD4:MW was a blast, I never bothered with WAW, then MW2 came out and it was good and the CO OP was fun, but I was left under the impression that it was literally the exact same game as MW. Then Black ops came out, I played through it in a weekend, traded it back in. I was done with the series. Just churning out the same exact games over and over again.... micro transaction's for every thing. It just got to the point where it represented everything that is wrong with modern gaming. The best online competitive pvp for me are games like UT3, Rainbow 6 vegas.

Borderlands :D

Halo all the way but it's not like I've never tried a COD game. I hear people say that MW (1) was great but I never really played that. I did however buy MW2, which I've heard from many wasnt as good as the MW1, but I actually liked it. I liked the maps and how there was balance between camping and running around. Also a big fan of the nuke. The COD's (not the fish) I've tried since have struck me as much more run n' gun and I don't like that at all. Big fan of R6V (1) too, that was the ideal game for my playstyle.

"Been all hers half m'life" ~ Jorge 052 Played Halo. Like... half m'life. lol Also played a LOT of League of Legends in the three years leading up to Destiny. Now it's just Destiny.

Loyal Halo fan over here. I've honestly never played Call of Duty before (I have nothing against the franchise though). I'm wondering if I should get Advanced Warfare just for the Campaign. The story looks interesting.

Other means both too right?

MMO player that's been wanting a good FPS with mmo end game progression. I've found it here. Left FFXIV for Destiny and I don't think I could play that kind of MMO again. Tab targetting and dynamic combat systems like gw2 just started getting boring. I've liked FPS'S since Wolfenstein 3D up till Battlefield Vietnam. Since then FPS'S just fell short for me except for borderlands 1 and 2. If they made a borderlands mmo I would probably be playing it instead. Now Destiny has me hooked. I plan on being here for the whole 10 year plan and more if it continues.

Played both, Halo on the original xbox and a few on the 360, but I played COD more than halo
