How many of you were Halo Players before Destiny? CoD Players?
Just would like to shoot this out for an experiment. I'd like to know what you guys played before Destiny came out!
If you played both, which one did you play more?
EDIT: A cheeky Guardian has decided to necrobump this post, and has now caused me great distress. I've formed a multitude of ulcers in the last 15 minutes.
But I still am curious, even though it's been months- so the post is here to stay.

Never really played many (read any) fps games. I came from a fallout / witcher / stalker game style. Probably won't shift to another fps. I actually like the destiny world and believe it or not, the story, I find the gradual development of a story to be in line with the idea that we really don't know what the darkness is or much about our enemies. A great many things are left unanswered and I'm cool with that

I started on CoD: Black Ops 2. That was my first online FPS. Played that for about five months before playing a bunch of RPGs until Destiny came out.

Started with Halo CE and then moved to COD then Battlefield. I played Halo Reach and Halo 4 and just pre-ordered Halo 5 about 10 minutes ago on the Xbox One. I don't play COD much anymore but am looking forward to Black Ops 3. I've been playing Destiny since the alpha. After 3 straight weeks of chasing the raid sniper rifle but ending up getting 4 of the same machine gun, 3 shotguns, 3 ARs, 2 scouts, and a couple duplicate armor pieces I need to move away from Destiny's broken reward system and Halo 5 is looking great and only a couple weeks away. I'll keep playing Destiny but tired of the disappointing loot system.

All Halos and most CoDs up to blops2 Halo 3 and Reach were my favourites at their peak, but I probably put more time into CoD 2

Racing games did a year of destiny that was fun and stopped playing now back to racing car games

Halo and Battlefield. Considering going back to the latter, as it promotes some degree of skill (more than Destiny) Granted, my favorite thing was using jeep stuff on vehicles :D
