How many of you were Halo Players before Destiny? CoD Players?
Just would like to shoot this out for an experiment. I'd like to know what you guys played before Destiny came out!
If you played both, which one did you play more?
EDIT: A cheeky Guardian has decided to necrobump this post, and has now caused me great distress. I've formed a multitude of ulcers in the last 15 minutes.
But I still am curious, even though it's been months- so the post is here to stay.

5 RepliesHalo all the way. Have honestly never bought COD or had it in my xbox and probably never will. Don't get me wrong, I've tried it, and I don't care for it at all. How many of you COD players that also play Halo only played SWAT? That's how every single duel player of both games I know is lol.

Played all halos. Didn't finish any, wasn't for me. That was before I discovered PvP in cod black ops, which got me hooked.

Ive had every CoD from World at War til Ghosts (i will not be purchasing AW, as Ghosts was a let down imo). But id say i played waaaaay more Halo even though i only had Halo 2 and 3.

I played halo cod bf as well as 2k fifa and madden. Switched off years on which games to get.

I played halo 3 for a very long time and the two before it but switched to CoD4 and played it professionally for a while and then stopped playing those as well. This games PvP reminds me more of halos and I always liked halos.

3 RepliesI'm guessing the majority of members on Bungie forums are Xbox fans simply because the xbox using community had longer to utilize the forums. Only the more 'serious' PSN Destiny fans use the forums. And those users were more likely to play CoD because they lacked access to Halo I think a poll with options 1. CoD (PSN) 2. CoD (Xbox) 3. Halo (Xbox) 4. Other (PSN) 5. Other (Xbox) would yield a better demographic representation.

I played CoD more cuz I switched to PS 4 and didn't bother to get XBox live again

I was a HUGE Halo 2/3/Reach Multiplayer gamer for Xbox After I got burnt out on Halo Reach online gaming (which was far quicker than other Halo games), I moved over to the CoD games, played mostly Black Ops, and MW2 and MW3. But I am a Halo fan at heart.

Everyone I talk to about the new cod they all say,"if I wanted to play halo I'd play halo." I sense a change of wind when it comes to cod.

Didn't have an Xbox or I would have been playing Halo. Played a bit of FPS on PS3 via Brink (which sucked) and Bad Company 2, but more of my competitive FPS experience came from Unreal Tournament, Planetside and Rainbow Six based games via PC.

Played both. Halo was better no doubt but i prefer destiny. I dont like multiplayer pnly games and halos campaigns were only like 3 hours long

1 ReplyPlayed Halo 3 heavily, a little of Reach, little to none of Halo 4 and CoD isn't even in my vocabulary. I am/was a Gears of War player and Borderlands player prior to this.
