I still don't understand why people use Striker anymore when Defender is clearly superior.

Because smashing someone with a shoulder charge is the most satisfying experience ever and nothing a defender can do can match that

I prefer getting an over shield when I kill with my melee.

Still not as satisfying as gliding over a wall and kneeing someone in the face lol

It's all about play style. I prefer Striker.

I guess, but still though I've gone on 10 kill streaks in a matter of seconds just because people are stupid enough to walk into the Ward of Dawn. That magnetic grenade helps a bit too.
