You must have at least 5 unique reasons as to why Destiny is better to prove me wrong.
I would have said 10 but I doubt destiny has even 5.
I find it laughably hypocritical that your opinion needs no justification yet anyone with an opposing opinion needs to give 5 or more reasons to 'prove' you wrong. Is stupid a common disease in your area, and if so please tell us so we can avoid visiting.

I find Borderlands boring as compared to Destiny. However if Destiny didn't have Crucible or Raids then I wouldn't be playing it, and it would be just as boring as Borderlands. But here are my reasons why Destiny>Borderlands: -No duping. -Raids, most fun I've had in a while. -Crucible, though there are some things I would change. -Next gen, it's not so much of a big thing for me but the BL Presequel isn't even next gen. Are you serious? -There are some OP things that takes everything out of Borderlands such as the Bee Shield, and that one shield that makes you pretty much invincible (95% of the bullets that hit you don't do damage!!!) -Would post more but you only asked for 5.
-
Boaderlands 1 you got the best loot in the game looting the same chests over and over and over...BL 2 was better I would play the new if it was current gen and not last gen ps3 and 360 are pretty much dead to me lol
-
Borderlands will always have a place in my heart for its amazing characters. Destiny doesn't. No point in defending it.
You'll never take me alive you robotic sum' bitch!
i was a diehard fan of borderlands 2 i have like 600hours of playtime lol and was super excited for the presequel but once i played destiny i didnt care for borderlands anymore, still havent picked it up. after playing destiny i can point out things that were actually bad about borderlands, too many levels guns became useless very quick, very little control on how you looked, your character feels more unique and personal in destiny, im not a pvp player at all but having the option is good, and definitely not being next gen killed it for me. public events and the tower are also awesome, just the randomness of interaction.
-
I only need one reason. I have fun playing Destiny and I got bored playing Borderlands.
-
If the pre sequel came out for PS4, then I might consider it, but nope....still will have to stick to Destiny.....until The Order and Bloodbourne comes out that is.
-
Bad grampa has a better story line then Destiny
-
I play both. The hardest choice it choosing which one to play on a given day. P.S. love the Gif lol.

Edited by Draculag: 10/21/2014 12:37:15 AMI'm also a huge Borderlands fan, and BL2 is my favorite game of all time. That said, Borderlands The Pre Sequel not being on next gen is a massive mistake by Gearbox. Also, as someone else mentioned, Destiny plays smoother, and new oxygen mechanic isn't all that fun. I'll be playing and enjoying both for a long time, but I think Destiny will likely have a longer lifespan.
-
Didn't like Borderlands 2, I got bored of fighting the same stupid boss over and over. After the Colonial Marines debacle, I refuse give Gearbox another penny of my money ever again
-
Hate borderlands so much. Ugly mess of a game.

Opinions
-
i wish the pre sequel was on ps4 i wanna play it
-
I dont feel the need to prove you wrong, nor care even if I could. Borderlands is a good game. What I am wondering though, if you feel borderlands is so much better... why are you here instead of playing that?
-
I hate the graphics of borderlands with a passion
-
Why are you here?
trollololololololol
-
1) Sleeping God 2) Guardian 3) Ghost 4) Xur 5) Story Unravelling
-
Would it be a crime to play and enjoy both games? Christ.
-
Destiny>Bonerlands. Sh!tty loot system in Borderlands is the only reason that you need.
-
I am a huge Borderlands fan and think BL2 was the best game ever made. But going to BL from Destiny is hard. The moon gravity BS is not really cool to me. Their loot system is better, but Destiny runs so smooth.

Edited by InstaGood: 10/21/2014 12:31:42 AMDestiny has PvP and is at least reasonably balanced. Until Borderlands can give me a proper competitive mode, other than dueling and a very imbalanced arena, it lacks a key gameplay mode that would elevate it completely above Destiny. Borderlands is great fun, don't get me wrong. If you're comparing it's campaign/story to Destiny, it's no contest. As a full package though? They differ enough that Destiny still has something to offer that Borderlands does not.

Edited by johnston1101: 10/21/2014 12:22:33 AMBorderlands. 1. Story 2. More classes 3. Not a Grind fest. 4. More DLC 5. Fun after Max level. Destiny isn't bad though. But It could of been better. Keep the fanboying to yourselves. That is on a very generic level though. They are too different to compare anything else really. Also. Why the hell are you here trying to start things with the Destiny community.?
-
Why are you even here?
-
Shoot and loot is the constant. Beyond that the two games are so different it isn't fair to either title to try comparing. Personally I'm in the BL camp but that's mainly because I'm not super wild about PvP. However I think the Vault of Glass raid is possibly the most rewarding experience I've ever had playing a video game.
