how do i even level up lol
stuck at lvl 12, can't do mars because of the lvl 15 missions, can't do strikes because the last 3 teams i played with have quit. Great game, so fun.

Um... Bounties, crucible, replay Earth strike/Venus strike, and a good one is make a friend that's a higher level then you can piggy back off of him on higher level missions. *Drops mic*

If pvp isn't your can of beans then bounties are your friend. Turning in 2 or 3 at a time is almost a sure way to level up when your around level 12. Another good way is to do missions on hard, that nets a little more xp. If you can manage pvp even a little, same strategy works here. Grab some pvp bounties and do a few at a time.

This will happen if you stick with just the story. Take some time to do PvE and PvP bounties. This is how I stay ahead of the mission level when creating a new character.

Got my alt to lvl 20 in under 8 hours Grind until you can solo a strike, grind your bounties... They help a LOT. Don't worry about progressing the story until you're higher level.. Or do what other -blam!-s do and loot cave it

Patrol. Redo missions. Try strike even if your fireteam quits (the challenge makes it fun). All of those are fun.

I played the story and went on long walks around Earth and the moon. Played many Crucible matches and totally getting owned for days and weeks. LOL.

Play the earth strike. Even if your team drops out it's still possible for a level twelve to get through it solo.

Did you skip anything? I did bounties as they were made available to me and I was always a level or two above the story missions because of it. I was able to do more on a harder level and get even more xp.

2 RepliesYou can replay story missions on a higher difficulty or do patrols. Make sure to do bounties.

Strikes and Patrol mode. Don't forget to take your bounties with you. Massive XP gain from those suckers.

At 4 hours in you're right on target. Do patrol dead drops while completing random bounties and then jump into your story missions. You should hit 20 in about 5 hours.
