Free is nice, but it's not even close to realistic.
I got the ghost edition which came with some DLC and also a little DinkleBot (why doesn't he have a name in the story?) so I may not feel as strongly about this as those who didn't. There are a lot of things in this game that kind of turn me off. The Lack of story, no swat or capture the flag or multi-person vehicles or giant maps in crucible, no beards in character customization, no armor/weapon/ship personalization, cryptarch gives you other class's gear (stupid, infuriating and pointless), no space ship battles, no space exploration or exploration of any kind and pretty much nothing to do besides strikes and daily bounties. behind these turn offs, DLC price or size isn't such a big deal to me.
I have faith in bungies ability to address and
fix/change/add all those things I mentioned, if they will or not idk. What I do know is Bungie isn't going to be giving away either of these two DLCs for free. People have already bought them. Give em a refund? Yeah that's not gonna happen. And what about the people who have it already because of ghost and special editions? If Bungie does release it for free, it will be a giant kick in the nuts for me and all those other people who bought either of those editions.
Maybe some future DLCs will be free or something, but I can pretty much guarantee neither of these next two will be.

I agree we should be giving them money to fix game not expecting things remember they dont have to do anything to fix the game

Yes, they're most certainly not going to give the dlc from the "bundle" away for free, I can guarantee that. But that doesn't mean they won't give out other DLC for free to fix the problems and add in a worthwhile amount of content. Take Mass Effect 3 with it's botched ending. Everyone complained so they released free DLC that expanded on the ending. And that game just had one major flaw, it wasn't nearly as broken as Destiny. So if a game like Mass Effect (EA of all companies) will release free DLC to fix/make up for problems, then I'd like to think that Bungie/Activision would as well.

The DLC I'm talking about is to fix the story, new cinematics, dialog, start points, mission variation and class/species recognition. All that should of been in the game on launch and was as far as most have seen was briefer the cuts. This should be for all and yes should be free, if that overlaps with the two you have bought then Bungie owe you. However like you said it probably won't happen.
