These are something you can't just farm. You can't replay them every 10 minutes and expect amazing results thanks to RNG. ( I haven't even got Atheons epilogue and only have two pieces of raid gear over 8 times doing the raid over two characters. )
Another poor thing of the no replay value until refresh is that it turns off people from helping you when you need it. Again, it takes time and effort to play these and they refuse to replay if they've already done it. I still help when invited, but I don't understand why I get nothing if I've already completed it. I'm not saying I'm entitled to rewards, but it is a tedious task. Even Bungie says its one of the most difficult things they've created.
For the Nightfall, simply grant strange coins or legendary engrams upon second completion. Maybe you only get rewards once a day or something?
For raids at least keep the rewards for boss battles like The Templar Oracles, the Templar, and Atheon. I can understand that the reopening the chests might be over-kill. I also have a second solution for the raid. Create a raid vendor and every time you complete the raid after the first time, you get raid tokens. The amount would vary upon difficulty. This way the poor bastards like me who haven't even gotten a full set of raid gear or even Atheon's epilogue for as much as I've endured the raid can finally feel a sense of reward.
Any other ideas? I feel like this needs to be a thing.
