Honestly, i love this game. If they make the dlc like how they said they would and make more raids and maps and strikes, guns, armor, etc. i would totally be fine with paying an extra $40 for both DLC. I honestly feel like i should have paid $100 for this game because its that good. there are a lot of things they can fix. But me loving this game and still having a lot to fix, just shows how good this game has the potential to be. If it takes a dlc to make this game absolutely stunning, then here bungie take my $40

I feel similar to the op. Every game has its flaws. Black ops 2 zombies was filled with them and did a one finger salute to the story the original map tranzit sucked but the dlc improved the game. I feel destiny will be similar but even then I'm not a major story person so the lack thereof doesn't ruin this game for me
