Confessions of a 29 Titan
1. I spent the first month of this game beating every strike, mission and raid the way it was meant to be played.
2. In the last week or so, I have played with "cheap" tactics such as hiding under platforms to beat certain priests and so on.
3. I love to take friends farming, I seem to have a sharp eye and knack for chests and materials so they always ask.
4. Sometimes I have 100+ of the material my friends want to farm for... and I go along anyways, even if I need 3 more of a different material to complete an upgrade.
5. I give my own voice-over and act out the loading screen dialogues.
6. I have pushed an AFK'er or two off the nearest ledge with my Sparrow.
7. I have never AFK'd a match, strike, or mission.
8. I jump off of the tower. Alot. I don't know why I do this.
9. My first Exotic dropped during my first Nightfall clear after 2 weeks of failure. I celebrated!
10. I bought my second Exotic with Strange Coins I earned by spending hours on chests, strikes, publics, etc.
11. I spent a week and a half farming for Vanguard marks, not realizing I had reached the cap of 200 already. I've looked but... the Lost Items service doesn't recognize my pain :(
12. Sometimes I stand far away in the Mothyards with a sniper rifle, and count "eenie, meenie, minie, moe" to select a random target for death. Then I hop on my Sparrow and go about my business.
13. I get so excited when I see a Public Event pop up.
14. My first time in Vault of Glass, I freely admitted that I didn't know what I was doing. I was then able to learn a role.
15. I have learned the importance of explaining the encounters in VoG if there's anyone I don't know in the group, because some people are too embarrassed to admit their first time.
16. I get upset if my usual Pike gets taken after Dinklebot askes if we think they'd mind. It's the second from the right. Please steer clear of it.
17. If someone is being a kill hog and buries themselves at a cave, door or "enemies are moving against each other" entrance, I drop a bubble on it.
18. Sometimes I will randomly follow another player around and kill whatever they are shooting at to help.
19. I have a deep loathing for Minotaurs, especially in the Nexus.
20. My hate for Psion majors with shields has almost reached #19.
21. Whoever decided to give Knights and Hobgoblins shield abilities.... I hope you get the flu.
22. I refuse to wear a Titan Mark that isn't long and flowing and fancy. No matter how much rep it gives me.
23. When I'm in a Fireteam in orbit getting ready for a raid, I look at all the spaceships rolling deep and play gangsta rap music in my head.
24. I kill all Captains on principle. Even if I have to go out of my way to do it. I dislike how cocky they are.
25. I like to push members of my Fireteam away from the NPC they're talking to in the Tower while they are in their menus.
26. I will kick your ball off the edge of the tower.
27. I look at the gouges in the moon and wonder what happened.
28. I don't think everything is as it seems.
29. I was a massive loot cave whore.
30. My laundry piles up more than it used to.
31. My Titan is female. Sometimes it does disturbing things to the male Titans in the Tower.
32. I have never thrown a dance party in my Bubble :(
33. Sometimes during encounters I fall off the map and blame someone else for pushing me off.
34. I don't understand why our space ships fly backwards before diving forward in orbit.
35. I still scream like Chris Tucker in the Fifth Element when Stealth Vandals swarm me.

Lvl 27 Hunter: 1. Especially after reading this thread, I envy titans. 2. My friends hate it when I melee a random thrall and 5 seconds later Phogoth explodes. 3. My warlock friend doesn't understand how I can kill something with a throwing knife. 4. The Vault of Glass is luring me in... Alone. I hate my fireteam. 5. Every time I have a Crucible bounty... I die repeatedly. When not, I kill everything. 6. I have gotten into a knife fight with 6 stealth vandals and won. 7. I have a hand cannon that is named after me. 8. I love exploring Venus, and picking up spirit bloom, even though none of my armor requires spirit bloom. 9. Fallen ships are a lot of fun to ride, until you are launched all the way back to the Ishtar Collective. 10. I have never loot farmed on purpose. It was all the other guys fault! 11. I bought an exotic helmet engram from Xur and got the Knucklehead Radar. 12. I am the highest level out of my friends, but everyone still has better weapons than me. 13. My friends and I keep trying to get the stupid Thorn, but are unable to get past the gate. 14. After farming the moon for helium filaments, I realized I was using the wrong character. 15. I am close to assembling a full set of legendary titan armor in the vault. 16. My friends never know what subclass I am using. 17. Control is hilarious to play with a bladedancer. 18. I never want to go to the Crota's End raid, if only cause thralls freak me out. 19. If given a choice, I would join the Fallen and conquer the solar system. 20. I want to go to Jupiter. I will not stop until I get to Jupiter.

Confessions of a 28 Hunter. 1) I love killing players with throwing knives. Mine are on fire, so it's worse. And it's almost always in their head. 2) I usually say something like "eat it!" if I feel it was especially deserved. 3) I love sticking people with a grenade. It's harder than you think. 4) I suck with a shotgun but I really get enraged with the ones that kill me. 5) If someone one-shots me I'll throw my hands up and say something like "Oh, a one-shot kill, isn't that special!" 6) I have never, ever quit a PvP match for fear of getting reported/banned. 7) I don't mind when my match begins with 2 minutes left and I'm on the losing team. 8) I love to melee dregs and throw knives at vandals. 9) I get excited when I hit the Tower with completed bounties and engrams, even though it won't amount to much. 10) I always bow to people if they stop to look at me. 11) Before I upgraded the Suros (and ruined it) I was yelling "Murder! Murder!" in a British accent when I slayed in PvP. This was inspired by the show Most Haunted, whenever Derek Acorah discussed a murder.

Confessions of a lvl 30 Hunter/lvl 28 Titan. - I contemplate my purchases for like 20 minutes before I go through with them. Especially when buying cloaks or marks from the speaker. - And when I do press A and spend 25 motes of freaking light for some cosmetic that doesn't improve my character at all, I always think to myself "crap I shouldn't have done that" - I literally complain about everything that kills me in crucible. "Really?! An effin autorifle/scout/Shotty/etc.?!" "Nice hand cannon (insert insult here)" - I call the crucible las cruces - I haven't mastered the art of the Titan defender. I just made one because their armor is cooler than the Hunter's -I used to use hand cannons until I discovered the magic that is Suros - I often get asked to help with the raid from random players. Most of the time, I do, even if I've already completed it that week and will receive no rewards. - I help a brotha out - I'm way better with my hunter. Like WAY better. - I hate anything that isn't a gunslinger or a defender. I'm salty like that. - All my friends are Warlocks. - Raids are made easy with that zombie power thing dem locks got - If you tbag me I will stop at nothing until I've eliminated you from existence itself and you're not even a memory. I will tbag your every corpse. It brings back memories from my Halo days. - I'm salty like that. - I think destiny is a pretty cool guy. eh kills aleins and doesn't afraid of anything

Confessions of a 27 Hunter. 1. I like getting my group of friends and dancing around randoms in the tower. 2. I like running Vandals over on my Sparrow, watching them backflip through the air usually gives me a good chuckle. 3. I've achieved Gold Tier event during a vex sacrificing on the Ishtar cliffs, by myself with just a Handcannon. I almost didn't make it. 4. I've entered the Vault 6-7 times and have yet to beat Atheon. 5. I too, have an incredible knack for finding chests in most areas. 6. I make up background stories for my Huntress, she's a no nonsense badass. The Cabal fear her, and Wizards cower in her presence. 7. I like blowing up other people's sparrows when they jump off of them. 8. I try to get other people's attention when I find a chest, but if they don't respond to me within 5 tries, I open it. 9. I will chase down random enemies and stab them.

Confessions of a lvl 29 warlock: 1 - I hate fusion rifles to an extreme, but won't be shy of asking someone to use it in a strike or raid. 2 - I never speedrun a strike when I got a bounty nor stay in the back when I have the "standing tall" bounty. 3 - I like to speculate about the bits of lore on how it fits to the big picture of the game. 4 - I don't revive players who speedrun the strikes, but only on their first death. Afterwards I do. 5 - I did the cave loot thing once. 6 - I added a backstory to my warlock. 7 - I'm very stuborn in terms of what I do, I follow my own tactics if I know they work. 8 - I never revive other players when I'm the last guardian standing, so I don't die and make everyone start that section again with less ammo. 9 - I try to lure bosses to fight me or use attacks that can stagger them so my team can have some breathing room. 10 - I visit the Vault of Glass area to see if anyone is doing and help if needed, but won't if I see it's a low lvl player doing by him/herself. I just tell him/her to simply stop and lvl up.

My titan is lvl 26, when my super is charged in pvp I like to lure people who are shooting me into an empty room, hide behind the door, and touch off a mighty blast from behind them When they run in expecting a wounded trapped opponent. I may or may not yell "got ya f#$@er" as I do this.

The ship doesn't actually fly backwards; it slows down before turning toward the planet, but the "camera" (our POV in orbit) that is watching it maintains the same speed. We're not just sitting in one spot above the planet, we're orbiting it at a particular speed. Thus, when the ship slows down from that speed, it looks like it flies backwards before diving to the planet. This kind of just happens normally in real situations and movies with similar situations, so they've made sure it's consistent here as well to make it feel more real. And it looks cool!

lvl 24 Titan 1) I talk to people a lot even though I know they cannot hear me 2) I pissed myself when I got my first legendary item (steel oracle) 3) I yell a lot when I rush enemies with my assult rifle as if I was actually fighting IRL 4) When I got premium edition I showed it off a LOT 5) I attempted the vault of glass on my own... 6) I like rocket jumping 7) frontier shell FTW 8) I like to help even when it pisses someone off 9) I am champion scavenger 10) I am Scottish I swear a LOT 11) FOR SCOTLAND is one of my battlecrys 12) I revive at all costs

I should know better at 49 not to get too involved with any particular video game but BF4 had a similar effect but not quite this bad. I need therapy..... 3) My Hunter has basically hooked up my other two characters with legendary and exotic equipment (which is why I created them), no joy for him. 4) I'm effective in PvE but struggle in PvP (ok, I suck at it)....no joy. 5) I took my Hunter into the Raid the first time and got Atheon's Epilogue (much joy)....that made up for all of the death's trying to make those insane jumps with him. 6) The second time I went with my Warlock and got two pieces of raid gear along with Icebreaker...after I had just bought one from Xur. 7) My first exotic was Time & Patience from a legendary engram....major joy. :) 8) I've helped out random's on the first part of the VoG a few times...it's a lot of fun so why not? 9) I don't mess with other players if they don't mess with me....immature players are the bane of Destiny. 10) I detest having to fight Phogoth after being asked to help with the Thorn bounty and had no idea what we were getting ourselves into....omg. Please stay off of the upper platforms.... 11) My Warlock is my fave...Nova Bomb and Fireborn rock. 12) I love going out on patrol in the Cosmodrome and get excited whenever an PE pops up hoping to get some more AM's.

Edited by Drayco: 10/18/2014 5:10:23 PMim a lvl 27-28 warlock (gear lvling heh) 1) I scream "HIGH 5!" everytime I melee 2) I try to run over npc mobs with my sparrow in hopes of a road kill. 3) I get mad after I die using voidwalker.... because I tried to resurrect myself 3 times and thinking its my controllers fault but i switched trees. 4) I call out "glowy stuff!" when I find spirit blooms to the group. 5) I have a anger that grows deep when I look at the vault of glass and realize I don't have enough friends online to ever be able to do it. 6) I yell at the TV when I see someone get an exotic as the end mission/pvp reward.... and cry a little on the inside because I haven't got one yet. 7) I break out in dance at the end of every strike mission. 8) I found out what the fan does in the tower.... now I just lay in wait for the prefect time to spam button and scream "JUMP JUMP...JUMP AROUND ah JUMP AROUND!" 9) I want to gut punch the Speaker for NOT TELLING everything........ 10) Lastly... I still secretly hate the Cyptacrh with a passion. I hope someone kicks his tent over and makes him cry for the pain he brought onto us all.

I scream GJALLARHORN in an epic old-English accent whenever I loose a ball of multi-kill from its mouth 4. I call the bubble a Bone-Dome unless I'm wearing helm of saint 14 then its a Thunder-Dome 5. The beta made me hate the devil's lair 6. I Tea-Bag every dead elite enemy Especially strike bosses 7. I love to team kill my friends with my sparrow that's all I can think of atm

I don't care how good it is. 2) I use my defender subclass whenever I play with my friends because it helps the team, but whenever I'm online playing by myself, I selfishly play my striker to get all the kills :p 3) I really, really, really, really, really, really, hate getting one shot killed by shotguns. 4) I've raged quitted a few times for #3 5) I beat the raid for the first time last week, and it was glorious! 6) I sometimes get in a stupid mode where ill just continue to run into the crowd during pvp and die like 5 times in a row like a chicken with its head cut off. 7) I don't think any class is especially OP, I think that all classes have there moment of greatness and weakness. 8) Shoulder charge is way to fun not to use. 9) my first exotic anything were my "no backup plans" gauntlets back during the first week of the release, I still use those primarily to this day.....mostly because they look the best :) 10) one of the first things I did while playing with my friends during PVE is figure out a way to kill them with my sparrow. it worked. 11) i used to yell "ASSASSINNNNNATIION!!!!!!!" whenever I would kill somebody from behind in halo reach, and i still do that to this day, i wish the guardians could hear you when you kill them. 12) I tried making a hunter class for while, but found them too underpowered compared to my titan. 13) I've danced on top of the devil walker during the devil's lair strike................while it was still alive, it was a glorious moment. 14)I created a back story for my Awoken Titan. He used to be a guard for the queen before he died on earth. He fell madly in love with her and she led him on for while before finally spurning him away and screwing him over. he then left the queens guard, for earth and died trying to defend children outside of the tower. to this day, that's why he wont wear any of the queens armor, even though he did complete a few bounties for here while her emissary was in the tower.

I, too, am a 29 Titan. 1. I've given a lot of people a hard mode Atheon checkpoint to be nice. 2. Someone stole the soccer ball from me in the tower once, I kicked it over the edge so they couldn't have it 3. I've followed low level or random people in patrol and shot everything they were trying to kill 4. I've team killed people with my sparrow in control

6 RepliesI am a level 30 Warlock. 1)I am the most arrogant player I know. I have a 3.0 K/D, over 20 marks of the unbroken, and won't shut up about how awesome I am to my fireteam. They probably hate me for it, but like the wins. 2)I have pushed Atheon off once, but, did not do it because I wanted to, but rather the rest of my team refused to fight him legit. It is much more satisfying to beat him the good old fashioned way. 3)I beat the normal raid the week it came out and hard the week after. 4)I have played this game much more than I would have liked, yet I simply can't stop. 5) I refuse to make a hunter on principle, as I find them to be overpowered bastards in PVP, yet I love to hate them. The warlock/hunter rivalry is incredibly fun for me. 6) I complain voidwalker is the most underpowered class (and believe it), yet refuse to play sunsinger because I love all the purple. 7) Instead of waiting for our 6th member for hardmode raid this week, we got impatient and 5 manned it without him. 8) I have abused the loot cave when it first came out, but never got anything worthwhile, so I never went back. 9) I wholeheartedly agree with the nerfs Bungie applied to Assault rifles and the Mythoclast.

I will prevent you from jumping up there with me, so stop trying you titans and warlocks. Jk lol 3. I ran with OneCollar in the first weekly nightfall strike and it was suspenseful as heck. He got patience & Time, the next week I earned a Hard Light at the summoning pits nightfall. 4. I used to shoot shriekers, until I found out the truth about their death. 5. I know how to use the backstab bladedancer perk, while melee-ing head on. 6. My hunter, has a beard under his helmet. 7. I make montages of me doing backflips in my sparrow, and have been experimenting with hand signals while doing so to look even cooler. 8. I secretly wish my hunter gear had more bulky plating like the titan gear, and the raid piece for my leggings are a tease because only one side is titan-ish. 9. Obtained mask of the third man from xur in the first weekend, the following sunday I grabbed a beer and enjoyed reading the bladedancer QQ threads. 10. I feel like Jason Statham in "The Expendables" When I go on a throwing knife spree using knife juggler and the instant melee cooldown for precision kills perk. 12. My Cryptarch rank is LVL 60, the Cryptarch is my homeboy. 17. I oftentimes take screenshots of my hunter as he is posing with various civilian broads around the tower. 18. My girlfriend walked in on me when another warlock chick was dancing on me, it took a lot of episodes of "How I met your mother," on Netflix to suffice as payback. I did not complain, the show is hilarious! 19. Destiny has helped me continue to stop smoking. I have been smoke free for over 7 months now. The hype is real. 20. I post my newest youtube videos on threads that are completely off topic from said video, learn to love it. 21. The clan that I am in (darksidealliance) is over a decade running, and was created during the days of Starwars battlefront on PS2. 22. Back then I had a 50 ft Ethernet cord running from the router, all the way to my room (I miss that cord). 23. Sometimes tend to shoot, stab, and then continue moving forward in PVP as a habit. Knowing that a second or two later the hostile will finally register as dead. (@bungie :/ ) But when It works out fine I feel pretty cool. 24. I once knifed a titan in PVP and caused him to fly back at 100 meters per second. If the initial blade didn't kill him, the impact with the walls behind him did. 25. I like to show off my exotics when an obvious tower blueberry is checking out my gear (...) I cycle through everything I have available to equip. They then send a raid invite, I respectfully decline. I tap the fire on the Suros Regime while ADS-ing rather than hold the trigger because I can shoot it faster that way... And from time to time I burn half the clip to maximize dps for a first contact. 28. When I come across one too many shotgunners in a given match, I pull out my Universal Remote and put em in their place. 29. I like to dance on top of the Vex bosses in the "Black Garden" when the mind is awakening them from stasis. 30. I have over 200 ascendant shards with no final raid gear pieces to use them on to get to level 30 :(. Useless raid is useless.
