I recently made a Warlock following my Titan main character. In the Sunsinger tree there is an ability "Flame Shield" that is god-mode especially for PvP. A free overshield just for melee'ing an enemy.
The Titan has a similar ability that many other abilities can chain off or interact with in some way "Force Barrier". Now here's the kicker it only works if you KILL THE TARGET using 'Disintegrate' otherwise the effect is lost until the next recharge that takes FOREVER! A Warlocks grenade charges faster than a Titans melee ability lol...wtf...
I opt 'Force Barrier' be changed to ON-HIT just like that of the Warlock. As the Titan is supposed to be the tanky up in your face class I don't see why they were off-balanced by making this ability reliant of the kill and not a simple melee. For PVE a boss or elite enemy will laugh at you as you waste your melee energy and get nothing from it but typically death. Whereas a Warlock hits something and now has time to flee
What does the community think? Is this a legitimate change for the Titan (defender class) melee ability 'Disintegrate' > 'Force Barrier' proc?

The reason is it gives an extra bonus it either lets you reload faster or give you a recharging shield and btw mine recharges just before it ends

Bump, first one I made didn't convey my point clearly.
