Simple solution:
Weir whatever armor you want.
Armor doesn't have an effect on you in the crucible or in PvE. I got my hunter to level 20 without using any subclass upgrades and never swapping out of my original gear.
Check out my hunter if you.dont believe me.

You are either A. Lying through your teeth and simply put that gear on afterward B. A complete badass or C. Exposing something so atrocious that i dont even want to consider it true.
-
It's the atrocious one. I did have to change my weapons for PvE, but I used the starting weapons for crucible. The whole time I only used my starting armor, because I read someones forum talking about how armor rating doesnt matter for PvE, so I tested it out for myself abd he was right.
-
I really hope your wrong, because that makes me want to break my disk
-
The armor doesn't matter up until level 20, once enemies start going past that then you need to get better armor to face them. Besides breaking yiur dusk is a waste of $60.
-
Thats still a hideous lie

I think he's talking about the PvP aspect of armor stats.
-
The only part of the armor that matters in PvP is the perks and the +stats.

I bought the armour you spoke of it seems to be a waste of scratch. Read that you have to buy it then it will improve after time. Is this true? I hit level 20 - my armour seems to lack in one area - have 0 besides the fist. Was wondering if you could look at my Hunter to see if I am on par or lacking. I used a level 14 gun rare gun for till I found a level 18 gun at level 20.
