A really great feature that should be added in the future is implementing a theater mode that will record your gameplay and allow you and a group of people to go back and watch it. You could watch it in first person, third person, or free view and have the ability to save, edit, share videos and take screenshots. This would completely revolutionize how your friends and clan members approach raiding. Imagine going with a group of people into a raid, and you find yourself wiping at a certain point and you can't figure out why. You can go back with your group and review the film and find new strategies to tackle an obstacle. Or maybe one person in your group is really struggling and constantly dying or not getting a lot of kills. Instead of cursing at them incessantly, you can go back and watch a first person view from their perspective and go over things they need to work on and be aware of. Now imagine being able to edit video that is not limited to a first person view and sharing that with your friends and the online community. This feature does not have to be limited to just raiding...it could also expand to PVP! The possibilities are endless!

I completely agree, but Bungie might not like it's use in pve or raids. You can use this theatre mode to find Easter eggs and such much much faster and easier than finding it on your own with a character's limitations.

Bungie should invent a mode for this. I would call it something like "Theater Mode" where you can watch replays of a game and detach from first person view and pause and look around and pause. This would be great for Crucible too. I wonder why they never thought of this before.

If only there was a way for players to stream directly from their console and then check their videos after just like you said... You're not an Xbox player by any chance are you?
