So, after the latest update (not sure if it's related) when I fired up Destiny on Wednesday and after a couple of Crucible matches went into Iron Banner I noticed some issues. Sound and music began to lag and interrupt significantly. Then at the middle of the match the game froze. XBox system alert then popped up saying that game data is unreadable, the next one popped up advising to clean disk with a soft tissue (and I'm running a digital edition!) and restart the console. Then I was returned to the dashboard.
When I started up the game next time it began to verify its content and upon reaching 100% told me there was a "beagle" error and froze again (now with XBox system as well). I restarted the system, deleted the game and downloaded it again. The next morning I checked again and the game froze on inventory screen while in orbit. Today I played some time and finally the game froze while I was in the Tower talking to Xander. Right before this vendor screen and inventory load times were higher than usual.
I'd like to note that other games installed on the same console work flawlessly.
On a side note, the incident also somehow partially damaged my local profile. I was not able to see any of my game history and my gamerscore showed up as 0. Dashboard theme also got reset and it wasn't possible to change it back. Other things seemed to work. I resolved this issue by re-downloading my account.
I'd appreciate it if anybody (maybe devs) can shed some light on this issue and advise a resolution that works. Reinstall does not, unfortunately (the only thing I didn't remove was a local save file).
Thanks.

#beagle #xboxone Bungie, I have owned the Collections Edition Digital copy of this game since 9/11/14 on my Xbox One. As of today I've downloaded it probably 20 times (not being sarcastic). Maybe 4 out of those 20 times, I've had a good 6-7 hours to actually playing stable on one planet. As soon as I try something else though, I get BEAGLE error. The other 16 times I've downloaded it, it barely loads the cutscene where the plane is flying to the planet then it freezes with BEAGLE again. For solutions, I've read all the fixes. I logged in to my Verizon router per the XBOX One forums and set all the port forwarding rules up. I also did the same for the Destiny game per the Destiny forums. I'm an IT Tech so I know what I'm doing there...no issues. Under the XBOX network settings, the NAT Type is Open. I have a cabled connection to my router and I have Verizon Fios at 50Mbps down so the connection isn't an issue (yes I also tested the network connection in the Xbox Network settings). I was beginning to think it was the XBOX itself so I called XBOX support and did all the things they requested including a offline system update with a USB drive. NONE OF THIS HELPED. I finally had enough and told them to send me another XBOX One. I just got it in two days ago and set it up the same day....same Static IP I setup on the router and everything. Today is my first day off and first day to give it a shot. Guess what, I loaded it up, it updated the content, I tried the first Strike and....boom it froze up again with Beagle error. Definitely NOT the XBOX. Please give me some advice here. I just want to play the game and I'm at my wits end. Can you credit back the charges for the digital download so I can just go get a hard copy (this seems to be a fix for most people on the forums with the same issue)?? PM me. I'll be on the computer most of the day today doing something that will most likely be more boring than playing Destiny..
