You have to melee kill 1 million hive without dying. It took me forever but it gave me a the super rare exotic Gjallamythochasmclast. Keep us posted on your progress.

I'm bored so I'll post what everyone already knows about the loot cave. In the beginning of destiny, legendary engrams would reward players green and also blue weapons and armor . Legendary engrams dropped alot more often than they do now. In the 3rd week, the original loot cave in skywatch was the most talked about thing on Destiny and it spread like wild fire on YouTube. Everyone was doing it for legendary engrams. After several weeks of this, bungie patched the loot cave and left a easter egg that's there now to serve as a memory of how the community banded together and killed hive that came out of the loot cave. Bungie has always been known to leave lots of easter eggs in their games and destiny isn't an exception.

It's a Easter egg for the old loot cave. There is no exotic bounty. Necrochasm is a dlc weapon.
