Today is Infant Loss Awareness Day, it is also the seven month anniversary of my son's death. today is a day that we live not in mourning but in remembrance, reliving the short time we got with those lost too young and too soon. We get to imagine how they would be acting today, we allow our hearts to weep but keep our head high as we know nothing could ever bring us down because we have gone through the hardest thing anything can ever go through.
Remember Guardians this is not a day that we sit with our heads hung low in remorse but our chins held high proud to say that we created a precious life no matter how short they were here, they were ours and no one can take that from us. We are the voice they will never have and I personally plan to show the others around me that even if he is not here I will not allow his life to not inspire others around me. His memory will not fade and my experiences will become his and he will continue to inspire me to become a better person and a better father to his siblings.
Edit1: if you feel so inclined I have started a group for any others who have lost children called Lost Little Guardians, If you know anyone or just want to support awareness you are more than welcome to join us.
Edit2: If you plan on trolling or being disrespectful I will report you no questions asked, I will not take the time of others to feed your desire to be paid attention to. I only add this because It has already happened.
