You don't get it do you. People who cant beat it past the enrage timer are using this method and going 8+minutes into the enrage before actually killing the templar. This is not intended. How dense can you be?
I have a question? What about doing this legitimately hampers your gameplay? Seriously? Are you upset the devs decided that a diluted and dumbed down strategy shouldnt be used? Does your IQ have problems with employing team work and communication? What about cheesing a fight makes you happy?

I neither agree or disagree with it. It is what it is. But to go back on their words of finding your own strategy (yes this is a strategy albeit a stupid one. ) is wrong. You shouldn't tell people hey here is the vault of glass. We designed it so you can come up with your own way to figure out how to beat it. And then after people figure out an easy way to beat it you take it out? What's next? Not being able to use the relic to take down his shield? Having to chip away at it until it disperses then defeat the boss? If you don't like the way someone figured out how to defeat a certain boss then make it harder to do it that way. Don't remove it altogether because then you defeat the purpose of find your own way to take this down.

Ive suggested buffing the enrage and it doing an insta wipe. My issue is not with the entire strategy itself but with the enrage timer being completely avoided

See that I could have supported. Or make it to where the mobs can spawn on the platform. They can do it in other areas why not there.
