-blam!-ing yes
When I bought this I had heard such great things about the story. I saw the concept art of the enemies and the Guardians, I thought this is gonna be great. I thought I was in for an epic battle against titanic enemies that would fill me with awe. What I actually got was maybe 40 minutes of dialogue broken up between like 13 cutscenes, 90% dialog by one character, and a story that is neither rich not even close to being interesting. And on top of that I can't help but feel little bit insulted by idea that it's up to us to get the story for ourselves by going to the freaking Bungie.net for freaking grimoire cards. Don't get me wrong I love the grimoire cards, but they make a poor replacement for rich cinematic storytelling. If this was the intended product then everything over the past year has just been f****** bullshit false advertising. "...You can go to that mountain..." We were told we could play our way but because certain weapons are too powerful in the crucible they receive a nerf that carries over outside of the crucible Maybe they were too powerful in the crucible, but what does that have to do with PvE? I personally hate the crucible I don't like it I want nothing to do with it, so why is it that because of something in the crucible I have to change up my stuff? /rant
