I don’t know about you dear reader, but I always wanted to know a little more about the active members. In the past I would have loved to have had a bit of an insight into their lives, both online, and in their wider reality, but this didn't happen. As a result I thought it might be a good idea to have some short interviews with a few of the more recognizable guys and girls on these forums. So rather than wait for someone else to make them, I have done so myself. Maybe in the past something like this existed (or still does), but as I haven't seen anything like that myself, and I see no reason why coexistence could not take place.
I hope you enjoy the series and end up beginning to know the people behind the accounts. So without saying anything more, let us begin:

An Interview with... A 3 Legged Goat.
_________
JFKES:
Hello A 3 Legged Goat, thank you for agreeing to this interview. I trust that you had a good Christmas break.
A 3 Legged Goat:
I did rather enjoy myself, and "break" is indeed the right word. I was able to spend time away from everything - the online world, daily dues, immediate family, and even my home country - and do some soul searching with extended relatives. It's been a much needed refresher for me.
JFKES:
That's good to know. It must be strange coming back into things, especially where there has been rather a lot of change in the online world at least as far as Bungie.net. What was your first opinion of .next, and have you changed your mind since then?
A 3 Legged Goat:
I was indeed blinded by its majesty when I first saw it, but I've kept an open mind from the moment it launched and I've loved it since. There are features that I'd like to see return and some that could use tweaking or fixing (all dem pop-up windows), but I prefer it to the old layout in general. Having my own personal forums, controlling what I see, and customizing most of my profile down to the username are welcomed changes.
I would like to see some more hawtness in groups to make posting in them more interactive, and I'd also like a darker background (and custom avvies pl0x?)
I don't know how they managed to do it, but Bungie made B.next addicting for me - even on mobile.
JFKES:
I noticed you have made a lot of use of the username changes, but eventually came back to the same old one. Care to explain a little bit about the story behind your username, and why you returned to it?
A 3 Legged Goat:
When I wanted to make a gamertag for H3BTB, I wanted something both memorable and ridiculous. Thus, I looked back to some of my memorable and ridiculous moments, and the ones that stood out in particular where my encounters with goats. From goat movies, goat stew, and buckets of goat milk in the fridge to meeting actual goats on ranches - these were some of my most peculiar past times that have stuck with me. I felt somewhat tormented by them, so I figured I'd share that torment with others while they're wondering how the hell they were "sniped by A 3 Legged Goat". It's really not as extraordinary as it may seem; however, the name has become more than an online persona now that several of my friends and relatives refer to me by "Goat", albeit in a more cheeky manner.
Yet, even with all of the history behind the name, a big part of me wanted to move onto a new chapter, and I felt that changing what I go by would be a good start of that. Unfortunately, it also meant somewhat leaving behind my friends and some of the good things I did, and my new names just ended up confusing people.
I've had my fun with the name changes of Bungie.next, but you know what they say, "You can't outrun a mountain goat".
I think I gave up my anonymity a long time ago anyway.
JFKES:
If that gives us a bit more information about your forum history, why not tell us a bit about your life outside of the internet.
A 3 Legged Goat:
There's life outside the internet? Not for me! I'm studying animation and creative writing through an online degree, so I'm always interacting with classmates and potential collaborators through various communities. But when I'm not glued to a monitor, I'm probably out sketching something or just hanging around my small town goofing off. I very much enjoy a nice mountain bike 'n hike day, but the unfortunate nature of my career paths is that most of my time is spent indoors. I've actually thought about investing an uber laptop so I could take my animation with me to parks and such.
JFKES:
So back to your digital life then. What game is currently in your Xbox / PlayStation / PC / Other?
A 3 Legged Goat:
I honestly have no idea since I haven't played in a few months. My brothers probably put in CoD or something while I've been gone, but when I get back I intend to keep a promise to a fellow ODST and finish a co-op run!
JFKES:
Thank you A 3 Legged Goat for answering all these questions, giving as a bit more of an insight into who you are. Any last things you want to mention, or someone you want to give a shout out to?
A 3 Legged Goat:
I think this time I wanna thank Bungie for being such a kickass company. Many of us (especially myself) often get caught up in our passions and we tend to forget that, so I appreciate that I've been humbled back to Earth once more. To me, Bungie has done a terrific job with B.next, and while it still has a ways to go, their community involvement has me reassured. Of course, I'm very anxious for Destiny as well, so keep at it and know that your fans will be there all the way. You guys will always be the best, no matter how many times I may forget it!

I’d like to once again thank you Goat to agreeing to this and giving over some of his time to do so. Make sure to follow him.

I hoped you all enjoyed this interview. Feedback as well as suggestions for future interviews would be appreciated.
Who would you like to be interviewed in the future?
Goat has also agreed to answer any additional questions you may have for him, so just post them in this thread, and he’ll do his best to respond to them.

It's been a while since this thread was active but I was wondering goat, what do you think of destiny?
