So commenting "signed" confirms I support this? Because I definitely agree with you OP.
I was actually struggling to play through the campaign on the first play through, (I say first play through as pretty much every strike or patrol is just part of another play through) and I intentionally avoided buying into the hype for this game. I didn't even buy it for a week or two at first. Then I bought the digital copy and throughout the entire campaign I was wishing I had bought the disc version.
A whole set of free DLC before December might keep me interested. But frankly I can't see this game keeping me intersted anymore than a year with or without DLC. It just doesn't have that kind of lasting appeal to me. They will need some serious innovation if they plan to turn this debacle around. With the profit margins they have, they should be able to create live action TV shows, (high quality web series to flesh out the story/universe at the very least). The game has only been out a while but if they get on top of things quickly by throwing copious amounts of money at the problems they [i]should[/i] be able to sort it out...
