The Vex Mythoclast
It is not "still pretty strong.". The precision multiplier in pve was already 150% so it lost 36% in every single encounter.
ALL of my legendary guns now have a higher dps output than my vex mythoclast. It has no useful situation except weeklies with solar burn. And to people who think I don't understand that dps and damage per shot are different, you're incorrect; even in the time it takes to aim my legendary scout rifle, its precision damage is still 250%~ greater than the vex mythoclast (404 vs 986).
Before the patch, my legendary heavy machine gun still had a higher dps output than the mythoclast in the same situations, if you think it was strongest gun in the game.
People are often quick to scream: bad, entitled, whine, cheese; something incredibly -blam!-ing stupid about the whole event while ignoring the larger picture:
There is not much reason to upgrade exotic guns, or work hard for any reward when Bungle can, and would willingly, make it unusable in a single, hasty patch without even so much as foresight or what seems to be any testing whatsoever.
I, for one, welcome the other changes in the patch, including the Templar fight and various weapons fixes, so
Instead of spoutic idiotic rhetoric and poorly attempting to attack the character of someone who has the right to be upset with the patch, why don't you give them the facts and at least offer a constructive solution so that the feedback on this situation can foster a legitimate fix.

The Templar patch is ass too. Don't put floating platforms if you didn't want people to use them. What? It's OK for infinitely spawning Hobgoblins to sit up there and take pot shots at you but not OK for us to do the same to the Templar?

I am guessing DeeJ will address the hotfix in greater detail when the weekly update comes this Friday. Most likely it will be full of the same condescending and patronizing PR BS he's been feeding us so far, with cherry picked questions. But I guess we'll see. I certainly would like an explanation as to why a gun acquired by a small chance in the hardest content in the game (whether you cliffed him or not, as to avoid the debate about the whole thing, because it's already been beaten to death) is now subpar to an AR you can purchase from Xur or get randomly in other activities. I am eager to see what he has to say.

they shouldn't have "nerfed" the vex, they should have made it more competitive, which is not what happened here

The encounter was exploited by too many people and it became a little game breaking when too many people had it. It's ok for a weapon to be a bit OP when it's supposed to be extremely hard to get, but that weapon became easy sauce so they had to do something quick since modifying game logic is riskier.

I agree except for the templar patch. That's poor level design on their part and just because we found a way to make it easier. (This does not apply to the Aetheon glitch. F*ck all of you who used it)
