....be thankful that you are playing Destiny and not some other MMO or looter like WoW or even worse D3. -You don't have to share loot with your fireteam of 6 (let alone a 40 or 25man raid team with 3-6 of your class needing the same gear ><) -or roll imaginary dice against each other to see who gets the gear, -or spend hard earned DKP making sure you outright win an item roll -or have a raid on farm every week only to get the same or offspec pieces of gear to disenchant -worrying about all of the above when building another set of gear for your offspec/dualspec -Your gear also has all the right stats on it, as opposed to the Diablo approach to things which is...these are all the stats (str, int, dext etc) now here is a piece of gear with any number of those random stats/effects thrown in. eg. "oh a wizard only helm with strength and lifesteal on melee hit! how absolutely -blam!-ing perfectly useless" i dare you to start a wow f2p account and just pick a class/race and fall in love with it in the first 20 lvls....run some wailing caverns or deadmines and really get your eye on a piece of gear then proceed to never see it in your inventory, at least not for a long while
