I don't understand why it feels like the majority of people posting in these forums have devoted their time to just complaining and ripping each other apart. Would you be as relentless in your pursuit of "trolling" and actively name calling people/developers/mechanics if you weren't hiding behind the safety of an anonymous game handle? Based on the language and so called "logic" some individuals apply in their rants I feel as if a large portion of the negativity resembles that of a younger demographic (that or I'm gravely mistaken as to how I should address people....). I can't even count the number of times people try to say they have facts (ie. percentages of the demographic, or whatever) without even providing us the data to back up their claim, thus making whatever they spew out of their mouths just plain hearsay.
Anyways, keep calm, and game on.
Cheers

When ever I see people that get crazy like that on forums I think the same thing. That and it reminds me of the movie Jake and Silent Bob Strikes Back. At the end of the movie they take a list of all the people that flamed their movie online in a forum and beat them up.

Edited by IshihadoX: 10/15/2014 4:05:14 AMWell, see, online media and social networking (like this forum) create a lack of consequence through anonymity. To be honest, 99.999999% of the shit said on here would never be said in real life. Not only on here, but on FB and Twitter and whatever other online social outlet you can think of. I, personally, would be just as vicious in real life as I am on here, though. This reflects in the way I retort during dialog. No racism, no classism, no sexism... I talk on here just like I do in person. Though, to be honest, a lot of things said lose and gain meaning on here based upon the fact that you are reading it. There is a lack of communication in that, such as body language and vocal tones. Makes a huge difference.
