So I have Shadow Price atm for AR and was saving up for Vanquisher for a solid raid/pvp weapon. I should have enough this week to get it. My question is, would it still be wise to buy it after this AR nerf? Is anyone still enjoying their Vanquisher from the New Monarchy faction? I'm not sure which weapon I should focus rep on now...

Yeah I was actually using a blue Shingen for crucible cuz the Stability and Rate of Fire is incredibly good. So those are poop now?

I use doctor nope for pve, the nerf is not that bad people are over reacting really. Also solo'ed night fall after nerf and got vanquisher as reward, i still like doctor nope more though

AR nerf is 2% and some stability changes, if the gun is a high RoF and lie impact type you will be fine

Edited by bossdonut: 10/15/2014 2:54:37 AMThey suck in pve pretty bad now. Lost about 150 dmg per head shot in pve with suros. Massive dps loss to satisfy a bunch of .5 kd whiners who won't do any better anyways.

My favorite auto rifles are the Atheons Epilogue and Hardlight. If you want raw damage? Last Word or Vex Mytho is your way to go. Don't get the vanquisher

If you play in low level areas, its useful. But weekly nightfalls and such, expect to unload an entire clip on most enemies. Its sad. I prefer my hand cannon for those situations.

It was only 2% stop freaking out. Buy whatever the fuq you want!! Stop asking.

Edited by Thatmg7: 10/15/2014 2:56:52 AMYou just failed, the Vanquisher VIII is still the best legendary gun you can buy in tower. It has near max stability stat the change really didn't do much. I was still owning in pvp with it. It was actually a very "soft" nerf. The shingens took a larger hit.

It's not a big nerf

The patch changed nothing.

Play vog and you'll notice it trust me

Scout Rifle

It's really not that bad of a nerf. I'm really not noticing too much difference tbh.
