I would have to say the most disappointing part of the game is the lack of cool content like this : http://kotaku.com/theres-a-secret-boss-in-the-new-borderlands-1646303125 I have explored the earth from top to bottom and found nothing like this, and this is just on one map and for low levels (30). Places I've explored on earth *Rocket yard - all the way to the spider robot boss, nothing of notable difference is found. *Stairs near spawn - to the left of the spawn there are some (16?) Hive we couldn't pass in beta. Nothing notable here. *Airfield - secret cave on the right off the airplane wing ramp, nothing but basic fallen. In the cave under the huge building, an alternative route to the top entrance. Nothing new or notable. *River connection - golden chest under waterfall, nothing else.. *Broken ship yard - Entrance to a future raid? under the 2nd ship. Caves, nothing. Waiting for random pike bikers to spawn is slightly notable but still nothing. *Broken Hive ship? - if you go to the right of the second broken ship and follow that path, you will find an area with lvl 23 (?) Hive. This looked pretty near, you enter the ship and it takes you to.... The first raid! The monsters are of a higher level than normal, including the spider boss, but again nothing notable. I decided not to explore the other planets as there is no point. We don't have cool secret areas like BL or other RPGs. There are no patrol "raid" bosses or anything of the sort.
