Agreed and I am suspicious of the reason why. Of course Bungie and Activision want to make a profit on their sizeable investment, but customers are feeling they bought a purposefully watered-down product, that per Bungie's own admissions, was not clear in it's design mechanics and working as intended at release. I think the DLC map/destination "bugs" and "glitching" into DLC areas reflect content included in the pre-release final version that was removed about a year prior to release, at Activision's direction, following their Call of Duty DLC model. The levels of the story missions included in the Destiny DLC (as shown on videos referenced and confirmed on Bungie's forums) indicate they were meant to be part of the current game's story. Why would future DLC story missions be level 8?! They should all be level 16 or higher, as that's about the minimum level reached upon completion of the story. Bungie was forced, for the first time, by an outside entity to change their product, and the internal rift that resulted actually caused the lead writer to quit. The resulting year had Bungie scrambling to re-stitch the now torn story, without one of the main creative contributors, and what we got was the head-scratching, unsatisfying story, and a "diet" Bungie game (minimal story and strike missions, minimum number of multiplayer maps and modes... from the masters of multiplayer!).
