If you wanted everyone to be able to explore the game on their own, and that's why you didn't go with split-screen co-op, okay, I get that. But ANY time you do co-op in this game you are locked into a fire team. So how is that any different of a situation from being locked into a fire team in split-screen co-op?? I am so sick of being the only one who cannot play Destiny with my wife. We could be in the same fire team, playing together in what is a very good start to a new franchise, but without split-screen co-op I'm seriously considering just dumping Destiny, as I know many people already have for the same reason. Please, Bungie, find your pre-Activision inner child and patch in split-screen co-op.

I hear you. The idea that I can play normally with someone in Australia but would have to buy a new system and TV to play with someone who lives in my own house is ridiculous.
