The only person who should be ashamed is you, for not understanding what cheating is in context. Maybe you should do some research on different videogame genres and their base gameplay principles. Finding a place where something spawns regularly and taking advantage of it is exploitation at worst. Bungie should apologize to us all for making a game that's far too hard for the average gamer these days to actually understand. They should have held our hands and explained every single system in-depth, so there's no mystery left. The RNG should be 1:1 because we can only handle obvious rewards for basic actions, as we've been conditioned to for the last decade. It's Bungie's fault gamers now lack imagination more than ever and that some will even study game systems to excel and do so efficiently, the monsters. It's all Bungie's fault.
